You’ll speak to either our patient coordinator or clinical coordinator, who will set up your health profile with us if you are a new patient. After we collect your deposit, which will go directly toward the cost of your labiaplasty, you will be able to schedule a date and time for your consultation.

If you prefer, you can request your consultation with us online by clicking “Schedule An Appointment with Dr. Sodhi” be sure to indicate your reason for the visit. Please note that insurance very rarely covers the cost of your labiaplasty, and only if medically necessary.

Before you come in, you will complete Your Health File, the application through which you can access your online patient portal at any time. On the day of your consultation, you’ll be greeted at reception by our patient coordinator, who will make sure that all of your information has been entered to completion, after which one of our medical assistants will bring you in to meet with Dr. Neetu K. Sodhi in one of our exam rooms.

During your consultation, Dr. Sodhi will listen to your concerns about how your current labia structure affects your life and learn about your goals in order to better craft the surgery to your needs. Then, after a physical examination, she will recommend the procedures that will best address your concerns.

There are 4 possible components of the procedure. Correction of the:

1. Labia minora
2. Labia majora
3. Perineum
4. Clitoral hood

You may require one or more of these components, depending on your current anatomy and goals. There are many techniques that can be employed to get you the results you desire. Dr. Sodhi is well-versed in all of these varied techniques and will cater the surgery to your specific anatomy and preferences.

Together, you and Dr. Sodhi will discuss the surgery, and she will verbally walk you through the details of the procedure and answer any questions you may have. She will also go over all pre- and post-operative instructions, as well as the risks, to ensure that you are well prepared for your labiaplasty.

The majority of procedures will take place right in our office, in our Procedure Room, under local anesthesia. However, we do have the ability to book the surgery in a surgery center, if specifically requested by the patient.

The final cost of the procedure depends on which components of the labiaplasty you will need to have done. This will be determined by the end of your consultation.
