Enlarged Pores

Pore size varies within the same individual from body part to body part. For example, it is fairly typical to have more visible pores on your nose, compared to the top of the cheeks. Unfortunately, pore size is influenced by genetics. However, there are lots of options for minimizing the look of pores. It is also easy to temporarily create a flawless, poreless look with makeup. And while we respect and applaud this makeup artistry, we know that you want to look good fresh-faced in the morning too!

Here are some of our most effective treatments for pore size:

  • Matte, non-irritating sunscreen for everyday use. Fact: when your skin is calm and not reacting to harsh ingredients, pores appear smaller.
  • IPL treatment thickens skin and restores moisture lipid barrier over time, thus naturally closing off the pore, without clogging it.
  • Permanent laser hair removal– when the hair shaft is not constantly clogged ot accumulated dead skin cells and other debris, it is easier to clean the skin. Not to mention, with darker hair types, the appearance of the hair shaft through the pore can falsely give the impression of a blackhead or enlarged pore. Removal of the hair closes the follicle and tightens the pore.
  • Laser rejuvenation resurfaces the skin and smooths textures resulting in a “poreless” finish. Like IPL, it also thickens and plumps the skin by regenerating collagen and elastin.
  • Radiofrequency therapy works similarly to IPL and Laser, but treatment will feel different and may be more suitable for olive or darker tones.
